You receive 20% on a referred researcher's first order and 10% on every subsequent order from that account, for the lifetime of the account. There's no cap and no limit on how many researchers or labs you can refer.
Payouts start processing on the 1st of each month for the previous month's delivered orders. Processing continues up until the 2nd to last business day of the month, unless that day falls on a Friday. Payouts may take 1–7 days to process and 1–5 business days to reflect in your bank. The minimum payout threshold is $1. Only delivered orders count — if an order is cancelled before shipment it will not be counted, out of fairness to all parties.

The referral tracking window lasts 30 days, giving researchers time to evaluate the catalog and supporting documentation before their first order.
